Tonight I went to bible study and we talked about how we need to be living for God and knowing that we can trust in him. We need to have faith in him and show others around us Jesus. But then we also personally talked about how we need to keep our relationship strong as well. It is a balancing thing.
Hearing this just really made me look at my walk with the Lord. I am straying multiple places and times from the path that is laid out in front of me. I am keeping myself so busy and not allowing time to reflect and process the word and life. Tonight opened my eyes. I need to rely on the lord more. This just really hits home. With everything happening and a few of the things happening at home, I cannot do anything about them or deal with them without the help of God. He is here to help us and wants me to rely on him and know that I will follow him like the disciples. I want to be ready to give up everything when he has it in my plans and have the faith to follow him.
These are just a few of the things that have hit me. As you can tell bible study was good tonight and really truly impacted me. Although things may be hard at the moment, God is there to talk to and help. He is here to help us all through this. He is amazing and I need to start recognizing that.
Keep my family in your prayers as we are going through a few things. Things are getting better but prayer is powerful and can do miraculous things.
Tonight was good and has made me want to change and think about my life. How am I following God? Am i truly trusting him? How can I show others to him daily? etc.
